The Mobile BSL is intended to manipulate highly infectious agents occurred as an outbreak while reducing the risk to laboratory staffs and the environment.
The self-sustained BSL is able to move around the territory and operate independently without the need for electricity and water. This allows an immediate diagnosis to be made in the field, avoiding the spread of epidemics.
Since SARS, 9 sets of mobile BSL-3 in China have been manufactured by KF MOBILE SYSTEMS.
KF has maintained a long-term cooperation with the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. It has independent intellectual property rights in the key technology of the "Mobile BSL". The technical indicators meet the relevant national standards.
KF mobile BSL played an important role in the fight against Ebola in Africa 2014 and COVID-19 in Wuhan, 2020.
Like fixed biosafety laboratories, the Mobile BSL has high requirements for internal working environment, temperature and humidity, air changes, cleanliness, illuminance, and noise indicators.
According to the different research objects, the laboratory biosafety level is divided into four levels.
